Social Media and me
From the time I was able to sign up for social media at the age of 13, I've had multiple social media accounts. Facebook, instagram, and the likes all at my very young very dumb fingertips. I Felt untouchable because the internet is not real life right? Wrong. The internet is a scary place but social media is a different beast. The taglines for these sites are what's on your mind? Naturally people are going to spew their most genuine views on social media because of that. It’s by design. Social media is only intrusive if you let it be. As a preteen I let facebook and twitter into my every thought and into my daily life not thinking much of it. As I got older I started to realize people I haven't spoken to knew things about me that I've forgotten I divulged. That's where it became scary.
